Pen and Ink

Cary and I went to breakfast on Lincoln Road yesterday morning. He had a doctor's appointment, so while I was waiting, my camera and I enjoyed the blissful quiet on a normally bustling pedestrian mall.

Last week I wrote about a site that I found -- Manhattan Details -- that intrigued me. I mentioned the possibility of starting a companion blog just with photos of everyday people, places and things in South Florida.

Nah, too much work to build another site and drive traffic to it.  So I've decided just to incorporate it into Pen & Ink.

I'm strictly an amateur photographer. But just as this blog has helped me look at life through a writer's eyes, maybe adding my own photos will help me see the world differently.

I've been taking pictures for the past couple of weeks in anticipation of this new addition, so I'll start posting every day.
